Any text that is added with be shown on the graphic.  There is a rocker switch on the right hand side (behind the state silhouette) to turn the backlights on and off.  The unit will not be shipped with AA batteries to power the lights.  If there are any questions, be sure to add special instructions so we can get in contact with you.  We can do different states and air frames if requested, but there will be an upcharge for the additional customization.  Turn around time usually 1-2 weeks.
